The chair takes its name from the place where we first encountered this design - our grandparents' home in 7th Mile, Kerala. We've kept the defining mission-style features while tailoring the scale and proportions for contemporary homes.

Made from reclaimed solid teakwood this design celebrates repetition and rhythm. Each vertical slat is carefully spaced to provide both structural support and visual lightness, allowing air to flow while cradling your back. Sturdy wooden armrests provide a natural place to rest between tasks. 

7th Mile represents our belief that furniture can carry memory forward - honoring what came before while serving the way we live and work today.
