The seat and back are handwoven with striped Niwar a style once common in everyday charpais and chairs across North India, but now slowly fading from use from the urban middle class. The strong yet flexible niwar weave restores both comfort and character. Brightens any spot it is placed in. The chair body is solid teakwood.
